H.R.U FOR LIFE RAFT

• LALIZAS HRU mechanism is the outcome of a long-term experience in liferafts’ manufacturing, designed and produced in the EU (in Greece), in accordance with SOLAS/MED/USCG regulations.

• It can be easily  installed on board, attached to the liferaft according to instructions. The mechanism is being automatically activated, in the event of sinking, in a depth of between 1,5 and 4m, allowing the

  liferaft to be inflated and detached from the sinking vessel. It can be installed to all liferafts of 4-150 persons.

• No maintenance required

• Requires replacement 2 years after installation on board or 4 years after manufacture, whichever occurs first

• Tested & approved by Force Certification A/S

• SOLAS/MED/USCG approved

H.R.U FOR EPIRB

• LALIZAS Hydrostatic Release Unit (HRU) for EPIRB is activated in a depth of between 1.5 and 4m deep by hydrostatic pressure, releasing the EPIRB from the sinking vessel.

• It is made of glass reinforced nylon for extra protection against corrosion, designed & tested according to LSA requirements / MSC 81(70), as amended.

• Having easy & simple installation, LALIZAS HRU for EPIRB requires no maintenance, while it needs replacement after 2 years from installation, or 4 years after manufacture, whichever occurs first.  The bolt (rod) must be replaced together with the HRU.

• LALIZAS HRU for EPIRB complies with most EPIRBs & is installed according to the EPIRB Manufacturer’s instructions.
